Kirstenbosch late afternoon



One of my favourite parts of Kirstenbosch is looking down on the cycads near Lady Anne Barnard's bath. It's the grey tones of their leaves that grab me in particular. I'm not sure if I've ever seen a yarn that colour, but I'd buy it like a shot if I did.


We went to a part of the garden we don't go to much, high up on the righthand side, in the map in my head anyway, and looked down on the city where the sun was still shining. The children are almost at an age that a proper walk is possible...
